RDFG offers volunteering opportunities for promoting positive changes in the frames of RDFG’s main directions of activities. RDFG invites volunteers to gain valuable experience and encourages them to be registered in our database for volunteering in the issues related to development of resilient communities and liable government.
You should enjoy working with young people, be compassionate, reliable, a good communicator and listener, with an ability to empathize, open-minded and non-judgmental. In addition to fulfilling the desire to make difference, volunteering offers you an opportunity to see the world through new eyes and better to understand it.
RDFG volunteers support sustainable development in main areas such as advocacy, crisis prevention and recovery, agriculture prospering, gender mainstreaming, peace building, etc.
Volunteering teaches better to understand ourselves, and ultimately grow in that understanding. Volunteer’s time makes a big difference to people’s life, so if you are enthusiastic, positive and feel passionate about supporting communities to build their confidence and self-esteem, then this role might be yours!!!
The first step to be considered as RDFG volunteer is to register your profile in our database of candidates. We expect all candidates to fulfill the following criteria:
Values and commitment
- Strong commitment to the values and principles of volunteerism;
- Hard working and goal-oriented;
- Ability to take initiatives;
- At least age 15 when taking up an assignment (there is no upper age limit, obtained consent from a parent or a guardian for a person under the age of 18);
- Bachelor’s/master’s degree will be considered an asset;
- Knowledge of English and/or Russian languages is desirable;
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills;
- Prior volunteering and/or working experience is an asset.

Rural Development for Future Georgia will issue a letter of recommendations to those who will successfully volunteer for RDFG goals. Also, considering volunteer’s interest and experience received at RDFG, employment opportunities may arouse based on RDFG’s needs. Association and volunteers will agree on the flexible working schedule. Please consider that volunteers are not paid.
