“Look and Learn” is a new campaign of EDKK project, that aims to raise awareness of beneficiary-farmers with trainings, meetings and visiting Demo Plots. The activity was organized by Georgian Berry Growers’ Association. Besides RDFG project beneficiaries, the representatives of Ministry of Agriculture of Georgia and USAID/REAP project, Serbian expert and members of Berry Growers’ Association participated in the event. Lali Goginava, EDKK project expert and the doctor-professor in fruit-growing field, also attended the meeting.

They also visited Isolda Kitesashvili’s Demo Plot, where Nebojsa Momirovic, Serbian expert demonstrated new technique of berry pruning.

“The meeting was very informative and important for EDKK beneficiaries. They met other berry growers, shared each other’s experience and learned about new achievements in berry production and realization. Out of 16 Demonstration plots, created through the EDKK project, berries were planted in 10 of them. Beneficiaries already received and marketed their first harvest. Currently, in the framework of the project there is a selection process to create new Demo Plots.
